Also, applying the foreseeable consequences standard of law, no public employee, even inheriting an existing op, especially from a previous administration, can or should use or take the existence of any program as further license and authority to continue it per se. The probable or highly likely and foreseeable consequences in the fast and furious case were clear but a whole lot of testosterone, machoness and group-think allowed these geniuses to continue the carnage. And even if the initial op passes the "good-faith" test of a mistake versus criminal mens rea, the cover-ups after certainly are criminal in act and intent and do warrant investigation and prosecution. Who will investigate? We the people use whatever skills and capablities we have developed, just as Mike and Mark are doing this courageous reporting, and then we keep going, like the energizer bunny, and each time the law enforcement authorities refuse to even look at the obvious in front of them begging for investigation, we document it on paper, keep the paper trail, and go higher and higher and more public and more public. That is about all we can do right now except also do our homework, have our facts straight, be willing to admit and corrrect errors, and find new venues and approaches to linking up with others. Justifying the actual unlawful activities that are now being questioned--in order to stop terrorism we've got to pretend to be as they are.. Drug running--gun running--Jihadists--- Oil company has operatives in Iran hoping to get paid after the fall of Iran---Iraq--afghanistan--Libya--all had insiders for any type of service needed--- I always suspected things like this being done to keep the ppl of Gaza oppressed---placing insiders inside with access to missles to inflict the pain needed on the population of israel--to justify hostilities.. I believe fast furious/gun walker-- is just the labels of this homeland operation and this is being done in every nation---transfering arms to terrorists and drug runners was never more successful than in Libya--They got some very good war tools.. iraq---weapons were left for pick up--entire shipments of small arms disappeared--along with entire shipments of cash--not to mention the cash found inside iraq... Afghanistan given the same--DMZ---situation as vietnam---Pakistan intelligence producing adequate warrior enemies for nato to keep security a mystery--keeping the need for occupation... Criminal investigation? The question then is--who should investigate who? The--op-- was inherited---the worst of it had already taken place? Holder knows the ppl asking the questions(Issa) may not realize the whole committee are the guilty...
